This recipe is:

1/2 cup (125 mL) canola or olive oil

1/4 cup (60 mL) white wine vinegar

2 tsp (10 mL) dried basil

1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) salt

1 tsp (5 mL) SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated

1/2 tsp (2 mL) garlic powder

1 tbsp light mayonnaise (half the calories)

3 tbsp water


Combine all ingredients in a blender.

Blend on high until the ingredients are completely mixed, about 30 seconds.

Pour into a small pitcher or salad dressing cruet.

Cover and refridgerate before serving. Shake or stir before pouring.
