8 ounces chopped dates
¾ cup 2% lowfat evaporated milk
1 tablespoon Splenda® Sugar Blend
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup quick-cooking oats
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup butter or margarine, softened
¼ cup (packed) Splenda® Brown Sugar Blend

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray an 8” square baking pan with cooking spray.
In a saucepan, combine dates, evaporated milk, Splenda Sugar Blend, and vanilla extract. Cook on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 8–10 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat.
In a bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
In a bowl using an electric mixer, combine butter and Splenda Brown Sugar Blend; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add flour mixture and mix to combine.
Press half of oat mixture onto bottom of prepared baking pan. Spread date filling over crust. Top with remaining oat mixture.
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden. Cut into bars and serve warm.
