Onion, Tomato and Citrus Chutney Recipe
In a frying pan, brown the thinly sliced onions and citrus zest with olive oil and salt.
Add SPLENDA® Granulated and let stew slowly.
Add the chopped tomato and vinegar.
Let stew at low heat until a nice marmalade has formed.
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
- 2 cups (500 mL) red onions (3 onions)
- Zest of 1 orange
- Zest of 1 yellow lemon
- 1 green lemon
- Zest of 1/2 grapefruit
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener- Granulated
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) chopped raw tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tbsp (23 mL) red wine vinegar
- Pinch of salt
