Chocolate Mousse Martini with Fresh Strawberries Recipe

6 servings, ready in 30 minutes

PLACE the egg yolks and water in a mixing bowl over a pot of water or use a double boiler on medium-low heat for about 3 minutes – continually whisk. Be careful not to scramble the eggs. Add 4 tablespoons SPLENDA® Granulated and whisk until pale yellow and fluffy. Remove from heat and set aside.

PLACE the chocolate in a separate double boiler on low heat until the chocolate is melted

MIX the egg whites in a mixing bowl at high speed until fluffy. Set aside. 

BLEND the reduced fat whipped cream and the remaining 4 tablespoons of SPLENDA® Granulated in a mixing bowl.

FOLD all ingredients until well incorporated. 

REFRIGERATE before serving.

PLACE the strawberries in the bottom of the martini glass, cover with mousse, and place a strawberry on top with a mint leaf for garnish. Serve immediately.

  • 4 eggs, separated
